i couldn't take pictures on the 10th this month, as our camera was with chad in tibet. he spent several days with nomads who live only on what is provided by the yaks they raise. he was, for many, one of the few white people they had seen. he introduced them to the frisbee, blackberry, and digital camera. they showed him how to ride a yak, get heat from yak dung, and served him yak butter with yak milk. while he was there, he took pictures that made me want to marry him all over again. so here is this month's 10 on 10:

What frickin' excellent shots! I especially love the one of the spinning prayers columns...reminds me of that 80s "classic" The Golden Child. Back when Eddie Murphy was funny :)
